Imposition methods for every need
AImposition supports three methods for the optimal production of various print products: folded sheets for multi-page products such as books or brochures with precisely defined folding schemes and finishing; sheet-fed printing for the efficient placement of single-sheet products such as business cards or labels; and cut-and-stack for cost-effective production and the creation of sorted stacks for higher print runs.
Visual Folding Control & 3D Preview
First, select the optimal sheet layout, including the distribution of remaining sheets. You can then choose from standard JDF folding schemes, which you can customize as needed. During creation or editing, the folding process is displayed as an animation, from the unfolded sheet to the final product. An interactive 3D folding animation is also available. This allows you to visually check the folding sequence, page orientation, and final format even before production begins.
Output & System Integration
Once configuration is complete, AImposition generates the imposited PDF file. It is production-ready, structured exactly according to defined parameters, and ready for print output. Additionally, a JDF job ticket can be generated, which transfers all relevant production information in a structured format to downstream systems. This makes AImposition an integral part of your automated workflow environment. The combination of an imposited PDF and a standardized JDF job ticket enables end-to-end, data-driven production, from planning to the press.
