Coatings, laminates, and spare parts from European and Asian suppliers now carry a 15% duty, adding to operational costs. Globally sourced paper is hit at multiple stages, with duties layered at each cross-border checkpoint. Vinyl media and textile substrates face similar cost increases, while printer control boards, sensors, and chipsets from overseas are subject to reciprocal tariffs. Even services such as prepress-, scanning-, and imaging-solutions are becoming more expensive due to higher costs for imported hardware.
